Meetings are held at 7pm on the first Wednesday of the month at the Eagles Hotel in Llanrwst. There is a different speaker for every month (except August and January when no meeting is held). We have 80 members at present, with all meetings open to everyone. We encourage young people to join - we now have 3 junior members.

The society have produced some books on local history. See the history section for details of these local history books.

May 5th - talk by Mr Robert Evans of Archaelogical Trust 'Digging in Llanrwst'
About the archaeology associated with the flood alleviation scheme, and place the results of the archaeological work carried out it in the context of 17th-19th century Llanrwst (the main evidence uncovered). Mention will also be made of the archaeological work carried out at the old school, and the talk will make use of historic map and plan evidence as well to help explain what we have found, and will include slides. All welcome.
